Exploring in Heels

Hi Everyone!

We went exploring Huntington Beach today!

This morning started to with me driving to L.A. for an internship interview (which I got!) and then heading back home to Nicc who was off from work.

We have lived in Huntington Beach for about 3 years now, yet every time we go exploring we find something new.

Today was no different.

I had heard of a German village that existed somewhere in Huntington, and had always wanted to check it out but never did! I felt like exploring today (and every other day) so I convinced Nicc to go with me and find this hidden treasure.

Turns out the place has a name…Old World Village! & it’s only 2 minutes away from my house!! I had actually seen the facade of the place before, but never realized there was a whole freakin village within!

We got there right before sunset, and there’s a bunch of interesting little shops, but only saw 2 other people (and a dog).  We basically had the whole village to ourselves, so we went crazy exploring even though I kept tripping on the brick path! I just rarely wear heels, and when I do they’re either chunky or it’s on flat surfaces.

I know I probably should have changed before heading out on our adventure, but I like being dressed up & professional every once in a while; it makes me feel important haha!

We really had a lot of fun exploring today, however, I do not recommend people do this with heels, it’s limiting (at least for me)

Have you had any recent adventures? Let me know below!

Thanks for reading 🙂
