The French Riviera is one of the most beautiful places in Europe. It is renowned worldwide for its beautiful beaches, weather, food, and overall ambiance. Nice, in particular, is now my favorite city in Europe as it is a perfect blend of urban and coastal. Its buildings are similar to those you find in Paris, yet it has a more laid-back vibe which comes from being by the sea. We spent 10 days exploring various cities in the French Riviera, and have compiled this guide with must-see towns, ideas for day trips from Nice, best hotels for different needs, and some traditional foods to try.
Nick and I started our Italy road trip in Milan and then headed to Lake Como for a few days, but have briefly cheated on Italy for the French Riviera. Seeing Lake Como made us miss the water, even though we had only been away from it for a few days. What can I say, we are definitely beach people! Lake Como is absolutely beautiful, and we loved exploring the towns surrounding it. Since we were limited on time, we decided to spend each day in a different town. I’m so happy we did this; each town is so different!
Santorini is arguably the most beautiful and magical out of all of the Cycladic islands. The famous Santorini sunset is to blame for this, and it is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Nick and I had the chance to spend 10 days in the “honeymoon” island as the last stop on our Greece trip. Below you will find a photo diary from our travels and also recommendations for the absolute best places to stay, play, and eat while in Santorini.
Milano! What a beautiful city. It’s sad that we were only here for 2 nights. We had originally planned to stay here for 5 days before we realized we had booked our visit during Milan Fashion Week! I know, that should be a good thing since I love fashion, but since Nick and I are traveling as a couple it’s a little different. I wanted to come to Milan to experience the city itself, and share that with Nick. Going from show to show would not have allowed me to do this. Even though our visit to Milan was cut short, we loved being here and getting to see what this city has to offer.
Mykonos is one of the most popular Greek islands, and for good reason. There is a certain magic to the place, a lively feeling that makes you want to stay longer. Nick and I spent 12 days exploring the island, and although it is small, every minute was fun and exciting. Whether you are looking for a place to relax, go for a memorable swim, or dance the night away, there is something for everyone in Mykonos. Below is my guide to the best places to stay, play, and eat for your next visit to the island of the winds.
Hello from Paros! Nick and I planned a last-minute trip to this Greek Island. We wanted a change of scenery before heading to another tourist destination. Paros is incredibly beautiful, yet it feels more authentic than Mykonos. The decision to visit Paros was made after we found out that it was known for its beaches, and well, I don’t have to remind you of my love for the beach. Just take a look at my blog’s name and you will probably figure that out on your own. Here are some photos from our first 2 days in Paros, plus outfit details.
Yesterday was our last full day in Mykonos. After spending 11 days here we thought it was time to see another island, so today we are heading somewhere special! Our time in Mykonos has been the absolute best. This Greek island is one of the most beautiful places we have seen during our travels and we are sad to leave. To celebrate our last day on the magical island, we headed to Mykonos town to have one last crepe, frappe, and watch the sunset.
We stayed in Athens for a total of 6 days, and it is now one of our favorite cities in Europe. Being in Athens feels unreal, especially when you get a 360 view of the city with dinner, or get to watch the sunset from the historic Acropolis. Find out the best places to stay, play, and eat for an unforgettable experience in the Greek capital.
After spending a week exploring the wonderful capital of Germany, Berlin, I have put together this list of places you must see. These are, in my opinion, the most beautiful areas in Berlin.
After spending 3 weeks exploring London I have put together a list of my favorite places to stay, play, and eat. All of these places I have been to myself, and will most definitely be back to. Check them out and save this list for your next visit to London!
